1. What We Collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. If you grant calendar access we read your upcoming Google Calendar events (title, time, and attendees) so the app can pre-populate meeting details.
During meetings we capture audio from your microphone and system audio to generate real-time transcripts. We also store any notes you write and AI-generated meeting summaries.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Authentication: Your Google account info is used solely to identify you and display your profile in the app.
- Calendar: Calendar events are read in real time to detect upcoming meetings. We do not store your calendar data on our servers.
- Audio & Transcripts: Audio is streamed to a transcription provider to produce text. We do not retain raw audio after transcription is complete.
- Notes & Summaries: Your notes and AI-generated summaries are stored in your account so you can access them later.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Heavenly:
- Google OAuth & Calendar API — authentication and calendar event retrieval
- Convex — backend database and real-time sync
- Deepgram / Whisper — speech-to-text transcription
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered note generation
Each service processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Convex's infrastructure. We use HTTPS for all data in transit and rely on Convex's encryption at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete individual meetings and their associated transcripts, notes, and summaries at any time from within the app. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
6. Your Rights
You may revoke Heavenly's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. This will prevent the app from accessing your calendar and will sign you out.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
